Guidance from Charles

Getting off the elevator, you'll find the kid nearby. He'll run from you, ducking into an alley. Rex will realize that this is obviously some kind of trap, and that he should figure out another way around.

Moving to the right, you'll find an old man (Charles) and a young girl (Lola). Charles will ask you if you need any help, and Rex will explain what happened. They know the kid (Robin), and Lola leaves to go get your stuff back.

Charles will offer a free checkup of your cyborg augmentations, and Rex will realize that this must be the same guy that Morax told him to find. You'll show him the picture from earlier, and Charles will tell you about an earlier customer with the same symbol, named Brank. Brank is a maintenance mechanic who works with a tour guide on Miracle Street.

Moving to the right, past the elevator. Speak with the maintenance worker Mario (mistakenly referred to in-game as "Oreoma"), and agree to help him to trigger a new side quest: deliving Mario's Letter to Hideyoshi in Night Flower Town (feel free to Read it Secretly after accepting the request if desired! It's written from the heart, that's for sure.). Then examine the Statue to the right of Oreoma/Mario for a new File.

Next, climb up the ladder on the Statue of the King and grab the Safety Rope on the awning.Continue further right from the Statue and you'll find a Water Supply System, which has broken down. Talking to the Gang Member next to it, he tells you that they can't find the maintenance worker, and Rex will offer to try fixing it.

Go back and enter Charles' Shop. Inside you'll find an Assembler Terminal, which you'll need to access.

Scroll through the crafting blueprints (noting the first one for "God's Touch") until you find one for the Soul Separator. Note the parts you need.

Leaving the terminal, you'll find a Lasergun Fire Controller to the left of the terminal. Grab it for later.

To the left of the door, you'll find a Reformed Turbine Engine. To the left of that, you'll find a Crowbar.Next, move to the far right side of the room. Interact with the thing there, then press the Confirm hotkey repeatedly to unlock access to the Accumulator. Grab it.

Now exit the shop. To the right of the shop, you'll notice a sign, which you can use the Crowbar to take off. Press the Confirm hotkey repeatedly to obtain the Electroplated Metal Plate.If you haven't yet obtained the Safety Rope from the Statue (near Oreoma/Mario) earlier, do so now. Now head to the left of Charles' Shop. Before the alleyway, you'll find a broken ladder. Using your new Safety Rope, climb down.

Once you are on the lower level, feel free to examine the Broken Toilet; you can't do much with it at the moment aside from getting some wonderful insight. Otherwise continue left, where you'll find an Abandoned Mini Vacuum Cleaner.

To the left of that, you'll find an abandoned vehicle. From the front end, use your Accumulator to charge it.This will turn on the lights, but you'll notice that one of the lights is missing.

Moving a bit further left, Use your Crowbar on the truck tire. Repeatedly press the Confirm hotkey to obtain the Rim.

Head back inside the Charles Workshop and interact with the Assembly Terminal. Select the Transforming Billy blueprint, then click on the "Suction Tube" entry and use the Abandoned Mini Vacuum Cleaner. Next, use the Lasergun Fire Controller on the "Fire Control for Laser Gun slot".You should have the option to Combine both items once they are properly in place, creating a Transforming Billy! Grab your new toy once it appears to the right of the Assembly Terminal.

Exit the Workshop and head back to the Statue to the right of the Elevator. Interact with the Ruby on the statue with your Transforming Billy, and the ruby will amplify the laser in the gun, making it much more powerful.

The gun will run out of power. Now return to the Abandoned Vehicle on the lower platform (climbing down the Safety Rope you installed earlier). Replace the missing headlight with Laser Billy, and try it out.You'll see that it will cut a line through the nearby Toilet, so walk over and place your Rim on the toilet.Once the Rim is installed, use Laser Billy again, and it will cut the Rim in half.Interact with the Toilet once more obtain the Semi-Arc Metal! This is the last piece you needed for the Soul Separator device.

Head back inside Charles Workshop and interact with the Assembly Terminal. Choose the Soul Separator blueprint, then place the Semi-Arc Metal into the Half Arc Liquid Level Adaptor slot, the Electroplated Metal Plateinto the Electroplating Anti-eddy Board slot, and Reformed Turbine Engine into the Separable Structure slot.

Combine all items once they are properly in place to produce the the Soul Separator! Grab it nearby, then head back to the Broken Water Supply System to the right of the Statue on Square Street. Use the Soul Separator to repair the machine, opening your path to Miracle StreetEnter the doorway to the right of the Water Supply System go down a level. Examine the shop entrances and speak with the Mysterious Man down here if desired, otherwise head further to the right to find the entrance to Miracle Street.
