Flash Party’s biggest update: new Preview Server launching on 11 Nov!
Golly, it’s been 8 months since we launched Early Access! Back then, Flash Party started with 3 characters, 1 test map, and 2 game modes. Today, we have 11 characters, 4 full maps, 4 standard modes and a variety map mechanisms that bring more diversity to gameplay! And it’s all thanks to your feedback that we’ve kept this party moving towards the grand vision everyone shares. Thank you, Party players, for making this happen!
Over the past 8 months, we accumulated more than 1800 of your valuable comments. While we really want to continue improving the game, any adjustments and content updates will now drastically change your gaming experience on the official servers. To avoid this, we decided to open up a small-scale Preview Server to collect test data and not just ensure your gaming experience stays smooth, and also that rigorous testing can still proceed as desired.
From now on, new content will first be added to the Preview Server and adjusted based on player data and feedback, before releasing it on to the official server. All modes of play, functions, and characters will be available upon login in this server. However, the Preview Server will not have any external development elements, e.g. ranking boards, Star Pass, chests. Battles will not generate any stars, and there will be no AI- that means you will only match with real players, and so we cannot guarantee matching time and matchup compatibility.
Finally, we hope players of all levels will come join the Preview Server and provide feedback on the features we’re testing. It will launch on 11 November, and you can download the game via #preview-download-channel on Discord and share your experience and feedback with us in #preview-server-channel.
TLDR: What's this about a Preview Server?
- All new content for the official server will first be uploaded to the Preview Server for initial testing. Content will only be officially published after we’ve adjusted it based on feedback from test players.
- The Preview Server will only be open when there is new test content. When testing is finished, we will close it until the next content test.
- The Preview Server has limited capacity (no more than 200 players online at a time), so you may encounter lag while in game. To keep the gaming experience optimal for Beta Server players, we may pause registration during peak periods.
- The Preview Server currently only supports Guest logins, so please do not login with your TapTap account.
- Version updates may result in lost guest accounts, but as all Preview Server content is unlockable upon sign-in, players can still play by re-registering for a new guest account.

How to participate:
- Join the #preview-download channel on Discord and download game APK (for Android) or Testflight (for iOS) through Google Drive.
- Install the APK and register for the Preview Server.
- To gather your feedback and thoughts about the content, there'll be two questionnaires to fill in during this testing period. Feel free to share your thoughts via the #preview-server channel too!
