[ Dev Blog #12 ] Talent System Remodel

Hey hunters, as mentioned at the end of Dev Blog #11, Sentry and Summon skills can be very similar, not to mention the reorganized talent nodes are gathered closer to one another now. After a few blogs on skills, let's talk about the Talent System Remodelling this time. 
CBT1 Talent Tab Exploits
Torchlight: Infinite always aims toward a vast variety of builds, thus a rich selection of talent is vitally important. However, ascertained from the first Closed Beta Test's performance, the off-balanced talent tabs granted scarce talent nodes readily but were difficult for a few other builds and it did not meet our expectations, thus this remodelling of talent tabs started. 
Talent System Remodelling
First of all, we started a simplification process, each panel now has only 2 labels to reinforce clarity. For instance, Summon and Sentry are the only two labels in the God of Machines talent tab.
Second, the talent labels are re-organized in each talent tab to facilitate more versatile talent nodes, and some talent nodes that came with greater restrictions are removed as well. One example is the talent tab Crusader, which is only labelled as Flame and Range after the remodelling, and this tab now is also compatible to summon skill builds:
• Micro Talent: +12% fire damage; +18% minion fire damage;
• Medium Talent: 50% physical damage converted into fire damage; 50% minion physical damage converted into fire damage; 
• Core Talent: additional fire damage to enemies at low life; minion deals additional fire damage to enemies at low life. 
Third, we have removed a number of less effective core talents reflected from CBT1 data and added new core talents. The optimized and redistributed existing core talents will serve better supporting different build strategies. 
Fourth, we even added more new core talents in the next CBT, one example is the Sentry skills already discussed in Dev Blog #11.
Lastly, a paramount advancement in the talent system is that talent point synergistic effects are accessible earlier in the game now. For example, a lavish performance from joining the 2 core talents, Incineration and Flame Fuelling in the primary talent tab God of Might:
• Incineration: +35% additional fire damage; when enemies are severely injured, enemies gain +25% fire resistance – this will greatly boost fire damage, on a small price on a limited period of boosted enemy's fire resistance.
• Flame Fuelling: damage ignores enemy fire resistance – and this will cancel Incineration's fire resistance effect.
