Real-time strategy is tough to get right at the best of times, so I was skeptical going into Cartoon Craft: is it even possible to create an RTS experience that works on the (relatively) tiny screen of my Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra? It turns out that yes, it can be done—although there are some important caveats to be aware of here. Cartoon Craft takes the basic premise of the original Warcraft: Orcs and Humans

The game takes place in a charming cartoonish world, where players must build and manage a small village of cartoon characters, constructing buildings, and defenses and training an army to fend off enemy attacks. This game is all about defending and building the cartoon kingdom in a strategy game. In terms of sounds and music, it fits the cartoon theme, and it adds to the feeling of happiness while playing and it's more enjoyable.

The game initially starts with a tutorial that walks you through how to collect resources and build basic structures, such as farms, houses, and barracks. The resources are used to build and train units, and the units serve various purposes, including gathering resources, defending your village, and attacking enemy forces. One of the best things about Cartoon Craft is its art design. It's hard not to love the cute and vibrant graphics, which make the game stand out among other real-time strategy games.

The gameplay is quite good, the junky art style that you will love and the animations when building and the funny way they walk is what piqued my interest. The story is explained when you are going to select a mission. Rewards and resources are quite good too. You can restart, of course, if you got demolished by the enemies and you will know what to do the next time lol. If you like this kind of genre, go play it! You will not get bored!
