I would nominate two games. Honkai Impact 3. Despite a game that mainly shows girls fighting monsters, the story itself is a top notch filled with tragedy, complexity, and deep lore. For Counter side, it is a simple game and certainly a very young game. However, the story plot is not bad either as multiple plots starting to come together through the views of different charcaters.

I'm returnee and all I saw was a purchase offer and 20 out of 20 lost pvp. Like raid shadow legends. I will not touch the picture and the plot. It is there and good. Pve at the release level. It is passed by any heroes. My current awakened hilde and yuna are completely uncompetitive. The game just wants me to buy new awakened for pvp. Remember? 150/150 +money

The game is easy to understand, you just have to know the weaknesses and strengths of each character against the opponents. The story plot is not that bad. The visuals/character designs are great but some parts of the game need optimization, like, the dialogue. The only thing that I don't like is the massive amount of pay-to-win players. The leaderboards are full of pay-to-win players, but of course, it can't be avoided. So basically, you can't win without having to buy in-game purchases. You can't even reach the leaderboards even if you grind and waste a lot of time since other people just get that resources in just one click. The developers are generous though. They sometimes give free 10x recruits and quartz so free-to-play players can somehow survive. Overall, it's a great game but not balanced when it comes to arena battles.
