SHOW BY ROCK!! Fes A Live Gets Idol Management Right, But A Bit Too Easy

Translate
As an avid anime fan, I love SHOW BY ROCK!!, and I believe it's one of the most underrated anime franchises out there. I really fell in love with the anime, and tried out the game when I finally found it. But is it good?
Much like the anime, you follow a band of animal-themed rockers, and as expected, it's a rhythm game with idol-raising aspects. And the game does something that most mobile games don't make you do much, and that is think. This is because the game requires players to actually strategise.
The Good:

Unlike most mobile games where you come out swinging, Show by Rock!! is a slow build, where players have to get to know their band members, as well as their strengths and weaknesses. This is where strategy comes to play, as managers/players get to play on a band's strong points if they properly raise their idols. Making your rockers strengths stand out while minimising their weaknesses is an integral part of the game. and you really have to plan for them instead of just blindly raising a character's level and stats. This is no simple point and click game ladies and gentlemen!
And since this is a rhythm game, it has a great variety of songs, and they don't grow stale on you. You can also play the songs as many times as you like, as there is no stamina cap for them.
As for the characters, they have excellent design, even their mascot versions by Sanrio. Simply put, they just look really really good. And as you are managing several rock bands, their personalities also come to the fore. This compliments the great graphics and visuals so well.
And if you loved the anime, there are plenty of familiar faces you can collect. And speaking of collecting, the gacha rates are pretty good. This means less salt, as the SSR rate is around 6%.
It also caters to a much diverse fanbase, as players can manage all-male and all-female bands. So if you want waifus or prefer husbandos, the game actually caters to both.
The Bad:

While the game looks good, it also means that it also has some technical issues. There are reports of the game not loading and people experiencing black screen. However, I have yet to encounter these problems, though sometimes, I do experience slower-than-usual loading times.
As for the rhythm game aspect, it's sometimes a bit too easy and not really that challenging compared to other idol-raising rhythm games. Sometimes, easier levels feel more like a chore, but the great song selection more than makes up for this.
Final Verdict:

Despite the often-reported technical issues and the game being easier than most other games in its genre, it's a very fun game with great characters, visuals and music. It's a must if you love anime muscial games or idol raising games in general. Simply a superb game with some very minor issues. And much like the anime, it's very much underrated.
