5 Mistakes New Players Make For Fate/Grand Order

Translate
I recently lost my phone and with its loss, I also lost my old number, a ton of contacts, and most sadly, my old FGO account. Yeah, I got a new phone but had to start all over again. But that being said, this allowed me to rectify a few mistakes I had when I first started the game. I noticed some mistakes I made, and with my new account, it allowed me to rectify some of the mistakes I had. I still lost my Merlin and Skadi though (*cries)
1) Not creating a Back-Up Account
Since this was my big mistake, I'd like to get this out of the way before it reminds me of my lost 5-Star servants. Yes folks, you can indeed create a back-up account in case you change phones or it got lost like mine. Just hit Menu, go to MY ROOM, and then scroll down to "ISSUE TRANSFER NUMBER." This generates a transfer number so you can transfer your account into another device. Some people forget about this when upgrading to a new phone.
2) Ignoring The 1-Star and 2-Star servants

Let's face it, when you see those gold cards that reveal 4 or 5-star servants, we immediately drool in anticipation. However, being 4-star or even 5-star does not necessarily good in the long run. There are 1 and 2-star servants that offer more mileage than "stronger" servants. For example, Arash is a 1-star Archer, but his Noble Phantasm is a freaking NUKE! Sure, he also dies if he uses said Noble Phantasm, STELLA, but the damage he inflicts can be a lot more than many 4-5-star servants. Another great "Low-Tier" servant is Hans Christian Anderson, the guy who wrote "The Little Mermaid" and other classic fairy tales. He's just a 2-star Caster, but boy does his abilities buff the NP Gain for other servants. This means that your other stronger servants can basically use their Noble Phantasms over and over again, as good'ol Hans is just a great NP battery.
3) Always Forgetting To Equip A Craft Essence or Equipping a wrong Craft Essence

When you roll the gacha, there's a larger chance that you would get a Craft Essence instead of a servant. Now, a common mistake me and my friends had when we were starting out, when the game was still new and the only guides were in Japanese, we never really equipped Craft Essences. Our servants were just there, fighting missions bare.
Now, Craft Essences grant buffs in Attack and HP. They also grant special abilities, from making your attack even stronger, start out with a higher NP gauge, have a higher Critical Star gather rate, etc. These grant a huge boon in your fighting capabilities, so if you get one, make sure to equip one, However, it's also important to make sure that the Craft Essence's abilities go well with your servant's own abilities. That servant has a good Noble Phantasm? Equip a Craft Essence that grants NP Gauge bonuses. That servant is a tank like Mash, Leonidas, or Siegfried? Equip something that boosts their HP or grants Regeneration, or boosts Defense.
A common mistake beginners usually make is that they equip the wrong Craft Essences for their servants. For example, Casters usually have a lot of Arts cards, but there are those who equip them with cards that boost Buster or Quick cards, as they only pay attention to the HP and Attack bonuses that each Craft Essence grants. If you have a good servant, be sure to pick a Craft Essence that compliments their strengths well.
4) Ignoring Servant Match-ups

This actually happened to a friend of mine. She had three high-level Sabers in Nero, Siegfried, and Julius Caesar, and basically just chose to only level up the three of them, along with Rider Medusa, Archer Arash, and Caster Tamamo. She refused to change her team no matter what. She would usually walk into an all-Archer quest with that line-up and barely survive. In fact, she would routinely lose those Weekly Archer quests because she would often bring that Saber-centric line-up. Please don't do that, Sabers are bad against Archers, so please level-up a LANCER or BERSERKER to take them on.  Be mindful of the Servant match-ups. Just because you have a cool Heroic Spirit does not mean he should be the only one you dedicate all your experience items to.
5) Being Too Salty
I get it, FGO's gacha rates are bad. I mean, I only got my first 5-star around the latter part of Okeanos. However, that does not mean you should rage quit if you haven't gotten your waifu yet. You should enjoy, gather Saint Quartz, and build a good line-up. Maybe one day you can get that dream husbando or waifu. Be patient. It's OK if you are salty, just don't be salty and hate on other players for getting the characters they want before you.
So that is it, There are a lot of common beginner mistakes, but these are the five most prevalent ones I have encountered personally. I hope newer players check this out and maybe not fall into the same traps I did.

There's more common mistake too about "This is p2w" That mistake will mostly take those player into huge debt. No there's no pity for those who pay a lot. To get one servant you will pay about  0$ (Lucky)  To 10,000$ (Shirakami Fubuki whale for Ryougi Shiki)  So is it p2w? That's another newbie mistake
