✔️ Intuitive controls
✔️ Layered hint system
❌ Abstract and mind-boggling puzzles
❌ Solving the increasingly onerous puzzles is anything but straightforward

Verdict (★★★★★★☆☆☆☆)
At the price of US$3.99, Moncage didn’t quite nail it. The challenge of solving memory-filled rubik’s cube does indeed offer a sense of accomplishment but doesn’t seem to go far. At times, the game appears as though it’s trying to be too clever for its own good.
Still, if you’re in it for the love of puzzles and riddles, there’re still tons to be admired here. What’s more, the ingenuity of its kaleidoscopic cube is more than sufficient to make up for its underwhelming narrative.
