Boom Beach: Frontlines is another entry to Supercell's Boom Beach IP, and it focuses more on multiplayer team missions rather than single player gaming. This means that if you like single player games, this one ain't really for you.
This game is best played with up to nine players in each team, and the gameplay is just simple to understand.
Unfortunately, I wished that the shooting be a bit more complex. It's not that difficult to hit enemies, though players also cannot dodge incoming fire. The auto aiming makes the game less challenging, as not a lot of skill is involved with this at all. I guess all I am asking is for better balancing between offensive and defensive features.
I also experienced lag a few times, and this would be difficult with multiplayer games as I often experience the lag right in the middle of the action, and next thing I know, I was already eliminated. Yeah, blame it on the lag I guess, but these things have happened to me a few times already.
Overall, I had fun. I have some issues with the lag and lack of skill involved, but in the end, I liked the game. However, better find some friends who will play this with you, as gameplay is better with friends by your side... until one of them starts feeding.
