I initially thought Guitar Girl Match 3 is a rhythm game given that it features a cute anime girl with a guitar. And boy was I wrong! I should have paid attention to the Match 3 portion of the title, as it's really a 3-match puzzle game. Basically, it's Candy Crush with a cute anime girl.
It has all the basics of a 3-match puzzle game, from pieces that can clear rows or columns to bombs that disintegrate a quarter of the board. Pretty much it's the same as Candy Crush. But yes, what makes this different is the fact that it has a cute anime girl waifu, and clearing stages can give you new "sheet music" that is essentially new levels, as well as improvements to the Guitar Girl's room, as well as other environments.
Aside from the decorating aspects and the anime aspects though, this game is pretty standard, and gameplay does not stand out. However, if you are a fan of puzzle games and like waifus, this one may be for you.
