Gladiators: Survival in Rome is a city-building game where players take on the role of freed slaves and gladiators taking on Rome itself, trying to survive as they gather resources, build their own city, and repel the attacks of their former enslavers.
Gameplay is pretty straightforward, though there is an energy system which limits player actions for a certain time. The base building is quite fun, though the resource-gathering can be quite a drag.
Overall, it's a good game. Story is OK, though its biggest weaknesses are resource gathering and the energy system.
