It's a 3-match puzzle game where players prevent a mass extinction by completing puzzles. They also get to tend to animals around an island and collect plenty of animal friends around the island as well.
As for the main part of the game, the 3-match puzzle is pretty standard. There are boss battles every now and then, and puzzles do seem tougher as there will be some obstacles, but more or less it's just like any other 3-match puzzle game where players match three or more animals of the same kind. The more animals they match, the higher the points.
There is also a bit of a world building feel as players get to collect some large-chinned animal friends. However, that takes a back seat to the main puzzle game.
Overall, it's not that bad. Fairly standard but I still found it to be fun.
