Hi Otakus! It’s been a week since we announced the upcoming release of Otaku’s Adventure on May 17! I suppose many of you must have tried out the free demo (try it if you haven’t!) and are very much looking forward to the full version~

Though the playthrough of the demo might only take you around 20-30 minutes (and shorter if you are doing a speedrun XD), there are quite a few interesting things that you may or may not have noticed.

[What’s in your drawer?]

For people who have played the previous work produced by SpaceLight Studio‘s debut project, this doll in the drawer may seem quite familiar. Her name is Kio, the protagonist girl from Kio’s Adventure, an 8-bit horror adventure game. You can definitely expect more SpaceLight universe crossover in the full version!

[Already checked your phone?]

If you check your cell phone, you will find that some app icons are actually interactable. Don’t forget to check out your photo album and messages which may reveal more info about your upcoming romantic date. Plus, see the cute cat icon out there? Press it and kick start your first funny mini-game!

[Have you found all the “Gumdan” head parts?]

While going through your Otaku morning routine and preparing yourself for the upcoming date, you also have another side quest - to find all the Gundam head parts hidden everywhere, assemble them, and fix the “Gumdan” figure. Some of them are really difficult to find. Have you spotted them all?

I really loved the demo, and I'm really looking forward to the full game. I loved the graphics and the dialogues that the protagonist has with himself (like every young otaku). I don't see the HR of being able to see all the endings

Honestly, I'm not the type to play these kinds of games. But this game somehow hooked me up! aside from just progressing through story, it has some side quests, interactions and easter eggs if you call it, which makes the game really fun and immersive. Also there's a ton references from this game! So i expect more on full launch, I'm so happy i got to try the demo. Looking forward for the full release!❤️

Wow. I thought the demo was really short and speedran it. I had no clue all these little interactable things existed. Very inpressed by this insane amount of detail in random parts only the most curious and determined are able to find. I am now a ton more exited for the release. Hope the devs luck and a successful launch!

I can't wait to see the full mobile version as an old player who has played the PC version! Otaku's Adventure features an interesting story and characters, a beautiful art style, specially designed point-and-click adventure puzzles, and a variety of well-made minigames. - Gameplay The story of the game does not bore me. The gameplay and progress changes with each chapter as choices are made. I can experience different kinds of fascinating mini-games. For example, boxing in the arcade, where I had to find coins to qualify for a challenge and then analyze my opponent's moves to win. There are even tense and exciting shooting games and surprising RPG games among them. - Storyline The various story branches were chosen by the choices I made and the hidden secrets I discovered. I would get completely different ways and results depending on what I did with lots of hidden endings and alternative routes. All game content has a very high quality! - Overall I would give this game a rating of 8/10. It's a unique and fun game. The only thing you need to pay attention to is to remember to save more!
