It's a bullet hell dress-up rhythm game, and if you're thinking that sounds insane you'd be right. It's also pretty fun, and definitely unique. I'm always happy to see developers who aren't afraid to try something new. The game doesn't take itself too seriously, using bring colors and an overly cute, happy aesthetic.
Gameplay is boss-rush style, with each stage consisting of one lengthy fight split into multiple "acts" where the enemies change attack pattern, gain speed, or increase damage dealt.
The projectiles and enemy movements are set to a different song each level, and the soundtrack is great. The music used is what you'd expect to hear in a Japanese rhythm game: fast, hard-hitting electronic beats with bright, cheery vocals.
The "actresses" (who basically serve as ships) are highly customizable—you can change their attacks, summons, outfits, and even other aspects of their visual appearance like eye color and hairstyle.
Like Love Nikki, there's a fashion competition where you can vote on two user-created outfits pitted head-to-head on the runway. Your entries serve as a way to win likes, which can be exchanged for in-game currency.
I love it so far, as long as it's updated regularly and managed properly I can see myself playing this for a while. There's currently an event going on that lets you choose a full set of gear for all of your characters, so now is definitely a good time to start.
