Hi Otakus! It’s almost been two weeks since the exciting release of Otaku’s Adventure on mobile. In addition to your informative game reviews, we have also received quite a few questions regarding the actual gameplay during the first two weeks.

In a game like this full of escape-room-style puzzles that often challenge you to think outside the box, it is indeed easy to get stuck somewhere on your journey. If you’re also scratching your head looking for some guidance, do refer to the following frequently posed Q&As for some hints.

Q1: How to beat Gohard in the arcade game?

A1: First things first, whether you beat Gohard in the arcade game decides whether you are able to get into her route. However, it is extremely difficult to beat her without some extra help. Remember the convenience store where you had your first encounter with Waifu? Do remember to buy a walkthrough and read it before challenging Gohard. You will find it much easier to nail the game!

Q2: How to beat the one-eyed alien in Gohard’s route?

A2: This one is pretty interesting. Just stay still and do nothing when confronted with the one-eyed alien, and the whole battle will just become a walkover for you.

Q3. How to get into (´･ω･`)’s route?

A3: To get into (´･ω･`)’s route, you also need to trigger certain events. Back to the convenience store, instead of buying the walkthrough, grab the bottled water and the golden screwdriver. In the arcade hall, don’t challenge the girl in the arcade game and go directly to Michael. Give him the water and follow his instructions to fix the broken arcade machine (don’t forget to check out the air conditioner upstairs for the slotted screwdriver). Instead of really “fixing” the machine, put inside your power bank to cause a fire and yes, your isekai exploration starts there.

Q4: How to find Head Piece A for the Gumdan?

A4: Though whether or not you collect all the Gumdan parts actually does not matter much to the main quest, do consider it as a small easter egg. There are 6 Gumdan head parts in total that scatter around your apartment, 5 of which are relatively easy to spot. The very mysterious Head Piece A is actually hidden in the tissue box in your bedroom. Keep on taking out the tissues and here it comes!
