We are one big step forwards to the next release, one step forward to true freedom on build styles and combo possibilities. First, let's start with the most anticipated news... dates! We are marching toward the grand Open Beta Test in October 2022. As promised before, the OBT will release on mobile via TapTap, App Store, and Google Play Store. One step forward to infinite possibilities on build styles
Break free from linear build progression is the number one focus in Torchlight Infinite, and we were able to collect a massive amount of player feedback from the last beta test. A total of 8 patches were updated during CBT2, and the majority of the adjustments targeted game balancing.
Reworked talent nodes, gear affixes and crafting rates with better-balanced attributes and affixes to aspire to more diverse build planning and styles. Scratch your build history and scout for new ideas by browsing through the expanded skill bank including new action skills and a lot more new support skills to realize peculiar build ideas you have.
An Open and Free Market
One simply can not have enough gears and crafting materials. Besides going hardcore grinding, another sufficient way to obtain perfectly crafted gears to complete your long-planned builds is through the in-game Trade House. To ensure the market operates truly on a player-made economy, no price is set by the Torchlight team.
All tradable items are loots, meaning you will need to get desired items from playing the game, and purchased items are not available for tradings. You need to work to get the things you want! After you reach a certain level, the Trade House unlocks for you, so that not a single Hunter can gear up to surpass levelled power.
The First Official Torchlight Infinite Seasonal Expansion - The Dark Surge
Torchlight's long history of defending the light from darkness lives on. Waves of corroded Amberons burst out when darkness tares apart the realms galore. Each wave is deadlier than the last one, and when it comes to fighting off the corroded enemies, Torchlight Hunters are determined. What could be a better tactic to lure in the enemies and defeat them by the same dark power?
Torchlight Hunters turned the curse from Dark Surge against itself.
In the last beta, Hunters were able to fight off the Dark Surge and reach to the final bosses. But how many Hunters were able to defeat all 16 layers of waves in one go? Did you enjoy the Forbidden Craft alternating legendaries? Optimizations are done on the wave triggers, animation and Forbidden Craft's performance for more challenging gameplay. A reworked Forbidden Craft balanced rate is waiting for you to break through affix tiers now!
