MECHA ATTACK - Dev Log #5! | Post Gamescom Update!
Hello everyone!
Its me Sam (Swammy) coming to you with an update on the production/development of MECHA ATTACK!
238813It has been a while since the last Development Log as I have been hard at work on the game and also been in talks with multiple publishers as we are still in a pre-production phase of development (although most of you know this already).
This dev-log is more of an update on what has been happening and less of a showcase on development itself as a lot of the stuff you see in pre-production will change during full production (less placeholders used etc).
As I continue to post more dev-logs in the future I will remain fully transparent and be doing my best to respond to your comments/questions/ideas!

POST GAMESCOM UPDATE
So late august I flew from the UK to Cologne, Germany for Gamescom 2023! This wasnt my first rodeo with gamescom but it was the first time for me to be doing a lot of meetings/events!
I want to tell you that It all went amazing, I hope in the future to be able to have a booth/spot for mecha attack where you can all try out the game and take lots of photos/videos! :)
DEVELOPMENT UPDATE
So you likely have been wondering what has been going on since the last dev-log?
Well that will require me to explain a bit about how game development works in an early stage such as pre-production.
Currently the main focus has been building a full vertical slice which we have basically achieved at this stage and we have been using this to achieve funding and finding a publisher.
I have also worked on a steam page as well for the PC version of the game. We need a publisher if we hope to land onto consoles as well.
I have attached a few clips/images of the game in this to show you how the game is coming along but this is very rough pre-production media which will be only a very lower end representation on what the game will look like in a few years time.
Companion Combat:
For some quests/missions your NPC/Companion will fight alongside you during the mission
