Unhappy Raccoon

I love this game and want to love it more.. but holding gameplay hostage behind microtransactions feels scummy even after promising every character would be available to unlock in game.. until this changes sadly i can't review it any higher and probably won't be playing any

Don't get me wrong I enjoyed the game it is a good dungeon crawler with roguelike elements. It has good graphics and good gameplay.What I just dont like about this is the theme "furry". Well to each their own. If you like roguelike and furries this game is for you. But for me I'm gonna sit this one out.

i like unhappy raccoon better than some other top down view game, that shall remain nameless. (mouths the words diablo immortal 🤮). Not saying it the best game ever ( mouths the words, close enuff). Nor am I saying XD Network knocked it out of the park ( it atleast a ground ruled double).  What I trying to say is that the game is worth playing or atleast giving it a try. (Makes inappropriate gesture of index finger being pushed and pulled into and out of hole made with other index finger on other hand then winks while pointing at XD Network.)

If you want me to get stuck to a game, give it character-based action and diverging upgrade paths. I was excited for Unhappy Raccoon for months, and now that I've gotten a chance to try it, I'm having a blast with it (even though my hands are crying in pain already! Ares with boxing gloves is too much fun.) So far the enemy types feel fairly challenging. Even for someone who's a hardcore fan of these isometric roguelite setups, I found the later stages to still be a threat in spite of my stacked upgrades. I got to the start of the third stage on my very first run, which was super satisfying! The defense mode was a nice addition too, I like the option of having a faster paced style of playing when I want to try a shorter mode.
